About us

121 Interviewing is headed by accomplished behavioural skills trainer, facilitator and coach, Steve Rose, who has over 25 years experience designing and delivering a wide range of management, train-the-trainer and interpersonal skills courses.

Steve's management training experience started in the early 1980s tasked with designing and delivering internal management courses within the Employment Department (now DWP) based at the Civil Service College (now National School of Government).

In 1990 Steve joined Syntegra, BT's consultancy and systems integration business, to design and deliver a broad portfolio of NLP influenced interpersonal skills training events. He also became one of the UK's leading pioneers of large scale self-managed learning programmes and had, up to 2007, personally managed over 500 graduates through a year-long programme of skills improvement. Steve has also designed and managed graduate assessment centres, trained colleagues to be accredited interviewers and advised colleagues experiencing redeployment..

Since 2002 Steve has also provided the professional input to three internet-based CV businesses managed with his wife Michelle - Winning CVs (www.winning-cvs.co.uk), A Winning CV (www.awinningcv.co.uk) and Exclusive CVs (www.exclusivecvs.com).

Steve is licensed to run Insights Discovery and TMI (Team Management Index) psychometric and personality instruments and has vast experience of designing NLP influenced, interactive training courses for individuals and groups. He has also worked with a number of renowned Master NLP accredited trainers, and has specific knowledge of Employment Law and best business practice related to recruitment, workplace discrimination and training.
